Following jury selection, on September 30, 2002, the defendant, GREGORY RUSSEAU in open Court was duly arraigned arid in person pleaded NOT GUILTY to the charge contained in the indictment, and demanded his right to a trial by jury. The State having previously announced that it intended to seek, the death penalty upon any conviction of the defendant for the offense of Capital Murder, the case proceeded to trial. Up Two and Three, respectively. The Court then pronounced sentence at DEATH, according to law and further the said Defendant,.
