[*1]The People of the State of New York, respondent,

v

Jordan Vecchio, appellant.

Janet E. Sabel, New York, NY (Justine M. Luongo and Heidi Bota of counsel; Sophia Henager on the memorandum), for appellant.

Richard A. Brown, District Attorney, Kew Gardens, NY (John M. Castellano, Johnnette Traill, and Christopher Blira-Koessler of counsel; Victoria Randall on the memorandum), for respondent.

DECISION & ORDER

Appeal by the defendant, as limited by his motion, from a sentence of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Richard Buchter, J.), imposed October 5, 2016, upon his plea of guilty, on the ground that the sentence was excessive.

ORDERED that the sentence is affirmed.

The defendant's valid waiver of his right to appeal precludes appellate review of his contention that the sentence imposed was excessive (see People v Bradshaw, 18 NY3d 257, 265; People v Lopez, 6 NY3d 248, 255).

DILLON, J.P., ROMAN, MALTESE and CONNOLLY, JJ., concur.
