City of Seattle v. Montana

Durham, C.J.

(concurring) — I concur in Justice Alexander’s determination that the knives possessed by McCullough and Montana are not "arms” for purposes of Const. art. I, § 24. Having held that Seattle Municipal Code 12A.14.080 is not unconstitutional as applied to these Respondents, I believe it is unwise to speculate about the boundaries of the "reasonable regulation” limit on the constitutional right to bear arms in self-defense.
