MacLaughlin v. MacLaughlin

In an action to recover from a decedent’s estate the unpaid balance of the amount of a contract to furnish board and quarters during the remainder of decedent’s life, it was held that the agreement was insufficiently evidenced by writing to satisfy the Statute of Frauds; and judgment was entered in favor of respondents. Judgment, insofar as appealed from, unanimously affirmed, with costs. No opinion. Present — Lewis, P. J., Carswell, Johnston, Adel and Sneed, JJ.
