I concur in the majority opinion, but wish to note that I believe it is time to seriously reconsider the general rule that a person not otherwise qualified may testify as to the valne of his own property. Whatever validity such opinions may generally have had in a past era, I think that as a rule rather than as an exception the probative value of such testimony is now highly questionable.
