UNITED STATES of America, Plaintiff-Appellee,
v.
Joe John CORNEJO, Defendant-Appellant.
No. 94-10546.
United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
Submitted March 26, 1996.*
Decided March 29, 1996.
Before: GOODWIN, WIGGINS and O'SCANNLAIN, Circuit Judges.
MEMORANDUM**
Joe John Cornejo appeals his conviction and 235-month sentence imposed following a jury trial for being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1).
Pursuant to Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738 (1967), Cornejo's counsel submitted a brief stating that he finds no meritorious issues for review. Counsel also filed a motion to withdraw as counsel of record. Our independent review of the record pursuant to Penson v. Ohio, 488 U.S. 75, 83 (1988), discloses no issues for review. Accordingly, the motion of counsel to withdraw is GRANTED and the judgment is AFFIRMED.
