State ex rel. August v. Henderson

In re: Mace August applying for remedial writs and habeas corpus.

Writ denied. On the transcript of evidence made at the time of the guilty plea, it is clear that the plea was voluntary, knowingly made and applicant was aware of the consequences of the plea. We have held that the penalty for armed robbery is not cruel and unusual. State v. Rose, 271 So.2d 863 (La.1973).
