State v. Collier

WRIT GRANTED AND MADE PEREMPTORY:

The trial court erred in denying defendant the right to make a closing statement. *216C.Cr.P. Art. 765(6); Herring v. New York, 422 U.S. 853, 95 S.Ct. 2550, 45 L.Ed.2d 593 (1975). Accordingly, the trial court judgment is vacated and the case is remanded for a new trial.
