dissenting.

I respectfully dissent. The majority states, and I agree, that the record renders it impossible for this court to determine whether or not the instant search could be upheld *759under a theory of consent. Therefore, the state faded to carry its burden of proving that the search was conducted with the defendant’s consent, and, thus, the motion to suppress should have been granted.
