¶44 I concur with Justice Cotter’s dissent inasmuch as it addresses the proper standard to be applied to a district court’s abuse of discretion in denying a challenge for cause in a civil jury case, and therefore dissent from the Court’s reversal of the judgment entered herein.
¶45 In regard to a district court’s abuse of discretion in denying a challenge for cause in a criminal jury case, I would apply the standard set forth in my dissent in State v. Good, 2002 MT 59, 309 Mont. 113, 43 P.3d 948.
