Grand International Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers v. Green

In passing upon the question whether the act of the Legislature, on which plaintiff based his right to proceed after the reversal on former appeal, was a remedial act, the court in effect passed upon all constitutional questions involved. The court, for reasons stated, was of opinion that the act was remedial and hence that by it defendant, appellant, was not deprived of any right or protection guaranteed to it by the state or federal Constitutions.
