Engleman v. Traeger

The statute providing for certificate of ownership of automobiles and the operation of automobiles, in this State, in my opinion, has no application in this case, the doctrine of respondeat superior applies alike to the relation of master and servant and principal and agent. The declaration states a case under the doctrine of respondeat superior but the evidence does not sustain it. The plaintiff may recover if at all on the ground that defendants were joint tort feasors.
